Christine L. Ogden, DMD

Presenting Dr. Christina Ogden, a distinguished member of the American Association of Endodontists with an illustrious 21-year career in dentistry, specializing in endodontics for the past 14 years. Having made significant contributions to the Virginia Beach community for over a decade, Dr. Ogden established a private practice in 2013, driven by an unwavering commitment to delivering unparalleled compassion and dedication to patients and referring doctors alike.

Dr. Ogden’s educational journey includes a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh in 1997, followed by a Doctorate in Medical Dentistry from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2001. After completing an Advanced Hospital Dentistry training program, alongside Oral Maxillofacial Prosthodontic and Oral Maxillofacial Surgery residencies, a term of service as a dental corps officer in the United States Army ensued. This included a year-long Advanced General Dentistry residency at Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and a subsequent two-year endodontic residency at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

With the attainment of endodontic certification, Dr. Ogden assumed the role of Chief of Endodontics & Microsurgery at Fort Lee, Virginia, before transitioning into private practice in Virginia Beach in 2011. The treatment philosophy revolves around simplicity and a dedicated focus on preserving natural teeth in a comfortable environment. Ogden’s professional ethos centers on technical excellence, academic currency, and a comprehensive suite of endodontic services, covering pain diagnosis, root canal treatments, revision procedures, routine and complex endodontic surgery, and root regenerative techniques on immature teeth.

At the core of Dr. Ogden’s belief system are values such as integrity, excellence in patient care, and effective communication. A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Ogden now proudly considers Virginia home, sharing an active lifestyle with a spouse and daughter. Together, they savor beach life, explore new destinations, and relish moments with family and friends.
