Mary Beth Sorrentino, DMD

As a native of Virginia Beach, Dr. Mary Beth Sorrentino is thrilled to
be practicing in her hometown. After all, there’s no place like home.
In 2007, Dr. Sorrentino graduated summa cum laude from James
Madison University with Bachelor of Science degrees in Studio Art
and Biology. Following college, she attended the University of
Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and earned her Doctorate in
Medical Dentistry, graduating summa cum laude with clinical honors
in 2011. As a recipient of the United States Air Force Health
Professions Scholarship, she was commissioned as an officer and
entered active duty in the USAF Dental Corps. She then completed a
rigorous one year residency in Advanced Education in General
Dentistry at Eglin AFB, FL.
After serving four years in the military (stationed in beautiful
Charleston, SC), Dr. Sorrentino decided to pursue her passion of
endodontics by attending an additional two year endodontic residency
at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She has
attained board eligibility status and is in the process of completing
certification as a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.
Dr. Sorrentino’s detail oriented approach aims at providing excellence
of care, while maintaining a comfortable and pleasant environment for
her patients.
